First export to Algeria in 1999.
International operations expanded in 2004 to include Kazakhstan, Russia, Azerbaijan and Lebanon, and exports to these countries began.
2005 - 2010
In 2007, Abdi İbrahim became the first Turkish company to rank among the “World’s Top 100 Pharmaceutical Companies”. The same year, Abdi İbrahim launched its sales and marketing organization in Algeria.
In 2008, the company established its sales and marketing organization in Azerbaijan.
First shipment to Europe was delivered to France in 2010. Abdi Farma was established in Portugal, and the first shipment to Portugal was made. Abdi İbrahim began sales and marketing of its brand products in Iraq via distributors. 2010, a year of important developments for Abdi İbrahim, was marked by an acquisition. Abdi İbrahim acquired 60 percent stake in Global Pharm, one of the largest companies in Kazakhstan, and founded Abdi İbrahim Global Pharm (AİGP). Abdi İbrahim published its first United Nations Global Compact Progress Report.
2010 - 2015
Abdi İbrahim began sales and marketing of its brand products in Albania via distributors in 2011.
Abdi Farma licensed Abdi İbrahim products in nine European countries in 2013.
Abdi İbrahim Remede Pharma (AİRP) founded in Algeria in 2014 as a 50:50 joint venture. The most modern factory investment in Algeria’s pharmaceutical industry was launched. First license in Canada.
Abdi İbrahim Global Pharm, the Company’s production facility in Kazakhstan, commenced operations in 2015. First shipment to South America was made to Colombia. Abdi İbrahim launched its sales and marketing organization in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The company made its first biotech product export to Algeria. First liquid product export was made to Denmark and Sweden.
2015 - 2020
Abdi İbrahim Global Pharm made its first export sale in 2016 to Afghanistan. First license in Gulf countries.
Abdi İbrahim Remede Pharma, the most modern production facility in Algeria, started production in 2017 with GMP certification.
First local product licenses obtained in Algeria in 2018.
First contract manufacturing (CMO) service in Algeria in 2020. Abdi İbrahim reached its net international sales target of USD 100 million.
