Quality Policy
At Abdi İbrahim İlaç San. ve Tic., we are committed to providing the highest level of safety in our service for human health, ensuring full compliance with local and international standards and cGMP requirements in our pharmaceuticals production processes and other functions. We work with determination, passion and a sense of responsibility to ensure that the services we offer are customer-oriented and constantly improve our quality system with risk-based approaches and trainings to make it sustainable and ensure that it is embraced and upheld by our employees.
Environmental Policy
Abdi İbrahim İlaç San. ve Tic. A.Ş. manufactures solid, liquid, and semi-solid pharmaceuticals and engages in R&D and quality control operations at the company’s Esenyurt Production Complex.
For all the operations of Abdi İbrahim Pharmaceuticals, environmental protection, continuous improvement, efficient use of natural resources, full compliance with legislation, prevention of pollution as well as reduction, separation, recycling and elimination of waste generated through its activities, preferably at the source, form the foundations of the company’s environmental policy.
Based on this policy, Abdi İbrahim declares commitment to the following:
- Organizing training sessions to raise awareness on the protection of the environment among all the third-party companies and relevant parties,
- Using the technologies that control and minimize potential environmental impacts,
- Following and complying with local and international legislation as well as customer requirements with a view to preventing environmental pollution and continuously improving environmental performance.
Occupational Health and Safety Policy
Abdi İbrahim İlaç San. ve Tic. A.Ş. manufactures solid, liquid, and semi-solid pharmaceuticals and engages in R&D and quality control operations at the company’s Esenyurt Production Complex.
For Abdi İbrahim, ensuring full compliance with legal and international regulations and customer requirements, and establishing a safe working environment for its employees at all its facilities represent the core of the company’s Occupational Health and Safety Policy.
Based on this policy, Abdi İbrahim declares commitment to the following:
- Eliminating any hazard that may arise from the activities, reducing health and safety risks, identifying and using protection parameters,
- Providing trainings for the employees and all the third parties for an effective OHS practice,
- Setting measurable targets for continuous development and achieving those targets.
Information Security Policy
Abdi İbrahim is aware that one of the most important conditions for its reputation in the industry and its service continuity is to protect information in a timely, accurate, best and appropriate manner.
The main responsibilities of the Company in respect of the protection of information assets are as follows:
- Defining the information assets belonging to our organization,
- Protecting the information of our personnel and of all our stakeholders,
- Ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of information assets
- Only using information assets for the purposes determined by the management,
- Upholding the organization’s security policies and rules,
- Ensuring that information security standards and processes are updated,
- Maintaining up-to-date employee awareness on information security through regular training,
- Conducting regular reviews of internal and external risks concerning information security, and taking necessary measures as revealed through risk analyses.
All employees of the organization shall act in compliance with the provisions of our Information Security Policy.
Business Continuity Policy
In all of its operations, Abdi İbrahim strives to identify potential risks that may cause business interruptions, take measures against such risks and drive Business Continuity.
To serve this end, Abdi İbrahim commits to.
- Developing a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS), designing relevant operational processes and keeping them up to date,
- Ensuring continuity of activities at predefined acceptable levels in case of an incident or a significant business interruption,
- Centrally coordinating crisis and emergency management operations,
- Improving business continuity plans with regular trainings, awareness-raising activities and tests/drills.
Policy Procedures to Combat Counterfeit Drugs and Illegal Medicines Removed from the Lawful Supply Chain
In accordance with the Abdi İbrahim Pharmaceuticals Quality Policy, we engage in all our drug manufacture and marketing-promotion & sales operations in full compliance with all legislation. We always act with the awareness of our responsibility to fight against all counterfeit and illegal medicines or drugs that have been removed from the lawful supply chain.
It is with this awareness that our policy includes preventive operations and controls as a part of its Procedures to Combat Counterfeit Drugs and Illegal Medicines Removed from the Lawful Supply Chain.
Within the framework of this policy, we commit ourselves to the following and announce to the public that we:
- Work with the national and international authorities in matters pertaining to combating the spread of said drugs.
- Investigate all reports and complaints concerning such drugs and notify the national/international authorities.
- Take the necessary measures to prevent counterfeiting of drugs during manufacturing processes and ensure that fake products are easily identified.
- Conduct regular research to identify such medicines;
- Conduct informative and cautionary activities, in particular with the pharmaceutical warehouses with which we conduct business.
- Inform all our employees and stakeholders about the issue of fighting against the circulation of these drugs.
